A Cantus Firmus Music title edited by Timothy Symons.

This large-scale set of Evening canticles may have been written when Mundy became a Gentleman of the Chapel Royal in 1563. The most likely explanation of the subtitle is that a group of soloists stood in between Decani and Cantoris, literally in the middle of the choir, in order to provide a further antiphonal effect.
