A Cantus Firmus Music title edited by Timothy Symons.

Walter Lambe’s setting of Nesciens mater is one of the shortest work in the Eton Choirbook. Unusually among Eton repertoire, the Cantus Firmus is the chant of the same name, heard in the Christmas season and at Vespers of the BVM at other times of the year.
