A parody of an unidentified chanson and one of Crecquillon’s shorter Masses. Each section begins in homophony and Crecquillon’s treatment of the vocal lines is reminiscent of Gombert – using very few rests – resulting in a thickly-scored 5-part texture for much of the Mass.
