In this setting of a text for the 4th Sunday of Lent recalling Jesus’s feeding of the five thousand, Vivanco demonstrates his ability to balance homophonic writing with sonorous 6-part polyphony. Addressing “good Jesus” directly, the text asks that we too may be satisfied with his grace.
