The model of this magnificent 6-voice Mass is unknown. However, the title suggests a setting of verses from Psalm 62 (used as part of the Propers during Eastertide). The mode bright “major” mode is similar to other Eastertide Masses and the music frequently employs jubilant madrigalian-style rhythms.
