A luxurious parody of one of Josquin des Prez’s most famous Marian motets. This edition is based primarily on the 1579 publication made by Christophe Plantin in Antwerp and, unusually, it includes two settings of the Sanctus – one a6, one a8 utilising a 3 in 1 canon. Both are included here to be used as desired.
