A forward-looking Marian antiphon similar in style to Taverner’s Christe Jesu, pastor bone/O Wilhelme, pastor bone. Alternating duet and trio sections are balanced with sonorous tutti sections. Taverner also used it as the model for his Missa Mater Christi.
