A parody of a motet by Pierre de Manchicourt and one of Clemens’ most beautiful Masses. The long sinuous lines and sonorous texture (expanded to 6 voices in the Agnus Dei) are typical of Flemish music of this period. The 2nd and 3rd Tenor parts may be sung by high baritones if desired.
