A magnificent parody of Praetorius’s own Easter motet Tulerunt Dominum meum. The music is typical of the early 17th century with Venetian-style antiphony between the two choirs balanced by moments of more introspective and intimate polyphony. It is also likely that instrumental accompaniment would have been employed.
