A 6-voice motet built around a double canon in the Altus and Tenor. Combined with the long and drawn out phrases, the motet perfectly captures the atmosphere of the text taken from the Song of Songs – Draw me after thee: and let us run to the scent of thy perfumes. Alleluia. Victoria later used this motet as the basis for his Missa Trahe me post te.
